Can I see your publications on approval?

Focus Education no longer send out sample copies of our publications, however, we can email you a secure PDF version of the book. This means you can view them on screen but not print or download them. You can also view a selection of sample pages from any of our publications online. If you would like a copy of any of our publications emailed to you, then contact us via our contact form or contact the office on 01457 872427.

How much does it cost for a day's inservice?

The cost of a day's inservice starts at £500 a day.
There are a number of factors which may change the price:
- does the consultant have to travel or stay over?
- is the day for one school or many schools?
- is it mainly made up of headteachers or teachers?
- will you require booklets/resources for the day?

If you ring the office and speak to Linda, she can give you a rough estimate of the cost for the day. Alternatively you can email your query to her via our contact form.

I attended one of your conferences – can I have the conference held as a day for the staff in my school?

This is one of the most common questions we get asked. You can have a day's inservice in whatever area you wish. If you thought the conference would be useful for your staff, we can run the same course. We can tailor it to suit your needs exactly. If you prefer more emphasis on one area, but wish to take out the afternoon session and replace it with something else, that’s fine. We can even provide the identical booklets we gave out on the day for your staff. For more information fill in our contact form.

I would prefer the Inservice day to be held outside of school. Any suggestions?

If your staff is less than 18 people and are based in the North West, we can hold it at our premises for you with one of our consultants. We can provide you with a buffet lunch and refreshments whenever you want them or recommend a good pub lunch! If it’s more we can recommend a good venue from our extensive database (all tried and tested) or, if you know somewhere suitable, just let us know and we can even book this for you. Can your adverts be sent to another member of staff in my school as well as TO me?

Many headteachers often prefer our adverts to be sent to their Inservice Co-ordinator or Deputy as well as to themselves. Just ring us at the office and let us know via our contact form.

Do you give discounts on your publications?

Not usually no, however, at all our events we hold a publications stand with all the Focus range on display there. If you order and take your publications away with you at the end of the day, we will invoice you with 10% off the total order price. This has proved to be a very popular way of buying our books at a lower cost. If you are buying in bulk we will consider offering you a discount, ring the office and speak to customer services on 01457 872427.
