We recognise that the move to headship is both daunting and exciting. Whilst there are many programmes available for new headteachers, our experience tells us that in order to be highly effective, programmes need to be bespoke and meet the needs of the headtacher in their context. New headteachers bring diverse experiences (and worries) to their post. These need to be unpicked and systematically worked through to enable you to realise your potential as a head as quickly as possible.
