There is no expectation for learners to use each of these strands but with support choose the one or two strands that require most attention.
Learners choose the most appropriate sheet within the strand they are trying to work on, i.e., Level1 to 2; Level 2 to 3; Level 3 to 4 or the Level 4 to 5. They then start at the bottom and move up the ladder demonstrating use of the challenge provided.
If they wish, learners can keep a record of the number of occasions they have demonstrated use of the challenge in their work. This can be recorded up to 5 times for each challenge. Teachers can then confirm that they have met the challenge by indicating with a tick or a symbol on the right hand side of the challenge.
