Focus News

2018 is coming to a close and it has been another busy year for Focus. We have released 9 publications, ran 50 courses with 793 delegates attending throughout the year and delivered 403 inset days in schools. We launched Inspection Coach with 2Eskimos which is an exciting website that helps you write your SEF and improvement plan. This has been nominated for a BETT Award in 2019.

This school year we are celebrating our 25th year in business. Starting off as an Inspection Provider in 1993 in Linda and Clive Davies' house to where we are now running courses, publishing books and providing inset to schools.  This year is also the 10th year since Focus moved into head offices in Talking Point a converted church which Clive, Linda and Claire renovated.

During 2018 we have seen 563 members join our Focus Rewards scheme. They are now receiving the benefit of monthly offers and finding out the most up to date Focus news. Exhibitions

We have attended many exhibitions this year. We went on our first international conferences to Abu Dhabi and Dubai to introduce ourselves to international schools doing the British curriculum. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces and so many new ones.

Team News

The Focus team has had a lot of exciting news. Elaines grandson Chester was born and during the summer Katarines children showed Elaine how to floss. Vicky passed her driving test. Linda celebrated her 65th birthday and Claire celebrated her 40th birthday and moved into a new house. Clive and Linda welcomed a great grandchild into the family.

We welcomed two new starters to our team this year.  Gina is our Events Executive and Katherine is our Customer Service Executive.

Exciting news for 2019

We have some exciting news for 2019. We are celebrating our 25th year in business. We will be running competitions and sales throughout the year to celebrate. Inspection Coach has been nominated for a BETT award and we cant wait to find out the results. We will be attending Inspiring Leadership again for the 5th year running.
