Product DescriptionThis mini clip would be ideal to be used at the beginning of a new school year although it does not need just to be then. Ofsted has clearly 'upped' the game in terms of curriculum expectations and this mini clip tries to capture what the new expectations are.
It considers the recognition of 'significant and key knowledge' as opposed to 'interesting facts. It then provides you with examples of the differences between the composite and component learning and looks at the inter-relationship between them both. The examples are across all year groups and different subjects.
It then provides you with a couple of examples of road maps which has been designed by a Tameside school before considering strands of learning in different subjects.
Hopefully, the mini clip will stimulate much discussion and conversation and help you move your curriculum to the next level.
