The processes which underpin a deep dive can provide additional structure and rigour to a school's own monitoring and evaluation systems across the full range of subjects. This book provides ideas and question prompts for each of the six sections of the deep dive process. Suggested sources of evidence; methods of enquiry and sources of evaluation criteria are also provided for each section. The book can be used by school leaders and subject leaders to complement existing processes, or to provide a structure against which to evaluate current practice. It will also help senior leaders and subject leaders become more familiar with the processes and questions typically used by inspectors.
