This fully updated (2024) video training has been designed to provide governors with key information about the Education Inspection Framework and the role they play within either a graded or ungraded inspection. The training includes an overview of the inspection framework and how governance sits within the grade descriptors for Good and Outstanding leadership.
The training material includes a set of audit questions based on the EIF for Governors and SLT. It also includes a range of typical questions from recent inspections that have been asked of governors.
Note: This training course has been fully updated from the Summer term 2024 to take into account the latest changes to inspection and areas of focus during the process.
