Description
This download provides several examples of adaptive teaching strategies applied in lessons across the primary age range. Many schools have examined the theory behind adaptive teaching, so this is a very useful resource that demonstrates what it can look like in practice. Teachers can share and discuss the examples to support their planning and consider the range of strategies they use in their classrooms.
There are nine examples, including maths, English, art and design, geography, PE and EYFS.
The examples show the intended learning outcome and how the teacher planned and responded to meet the pupils' needs, using resources such as visualisers, additional adults, WAGOLLs, etc., throughout the lesson based on the pupils' ongoing assessments.
