This CPD video is ideal for schools who have developed subject leader and newly appointed senior leader monitoring skills and now want to ensure feedback is highly effective, especially when leaders have to give ‘difficult’ messages to colleagues.
The training discusses how settings develop a culture of feedback as well as specific strategies for wording feedback conversations to ensure clarity and shared understanding of the next steps. There are scenarios provided in the training where the clip can be paused for delegates to discuss and apply the suggested strategies.
The training also provides a format for planning monitoring and evaluation, suggestions for how evaluations and subsequent feedback can be based on evidence and references to further key research in this area.
