This video training is ideal for newly appointed primary headteachers in schools likely to be inspected soon.

The training is based on the experiences of recently inspected schools in a range of contexts around the country. This includes schools that had a graded inspection and schools that had an ungraded inspection. Advice is shared on how to best manage the inspection process, especially for headteachers who have not led a school through an Ofsted inspection or have not led a school through an inspection under the current framework.

By the end of the training, you will be better prepared and know what information to have ready, as well as how to manage the process to show the school in the best possible light.

This is also useful training for deputy headteachers who are new to the role.
