How can we ensure that we
use our time effectively?

Decide your focus and stick to it !

• Even those with the clearest intentions can be distracted
from the core purpose of the scrutiny and end up focusing
their attention on presentation, handwriting, spelling and
marking.

• These are all important factors and you will have agreed
school guidelines and expectations relating to them.

• They all need monitoring in their own right but it is important
that they do not become the focus of every book scrutiny.
