Course DescriptionThis fully updated half-day course for senior leaders is based on research into middle leadership and how this can be best developed in an educational setting. With the increased emphasis on subject leadership in primary schools under the current inspection framework this is a really useful course to ensure senior leaders can plan training, guidance and support in ways that will enable subject leaders to be most effective. As well as exploring the research the course provides real life examples of how subject leadership has been developed in successful schools and ensures senior leaders can provide clarity and guidance, especially to subject leaders new to the role.
This course is relevant to Headteachers and Deputy Headteachers who have responsibility and oversight of subject leadership in a primary school.
