Product DescriptionThis half day course will provide DT subject leaders and senior leaders with background information on the deep dive process as well as ideas and tools to use in school to audit and evaluate DT against the three I’s – intent, implementation and impact.
DT is a subject that can be under-developed in primary schools; often aligned with art and not always given due prominence in the curriculum. As such, this course can is really useful for subject leaders to ensure they can raise the profile of DT, monitor and evaluate current practice and action plan for further development.
The training will:
- Look at the priorities and processes of a deep dive into DT
- Consider carefully the quality of the intent, implementation and impact of a school’s DT curriculum
- Help leaders reflect on the evidence they could provide to support the deep dive process
- Enable you to audit the quality of the provision in all aspects of DT
This training aims to delve deeply into the quality of DT provision and enable subject leaders to effectively evaluate provision in their own setting.
