Bethany is a KS2 class teacher and senior leadership team member at an outstanding Primary school in the North West.

For a number of years, Bethany has led the teaching of English across the school and has taken an active role in writing new Focus English units. As a passionate English subject leader, Bethany encourages a 'read for pleasure' ethos in an engaging and stimulating environment. She delivers high-quality teaching and has high expectations for all learners.

Bethany has had a variety of school leadership roles and responsibilities including Personal Development, maintaining the progress and attainment of Pupil Premium children, PSHE and Art. In her current position as Art Lead, Bethany has created a resource to support children’s artistic knowledge and skills.

Bethany has been privileged to mentor and support SCITT students during their teaching placements and has been influential in their professional development. In addition, Bethany has invested time and effort into coaching and empowering colleagues to reflect and enhance their practice and planning and delivering effective CPD.

Bethany is immensely proud to be part of a school community whose ethos is to inspire and motivate children to be successful learners.
