Sharon Dickinson

Trainer & Associate Consultant

Sharon is a KS2 class teacher at an outstanding Primary school in the North West.

For several years, Sharon has led the teaching of design technology and has taken an active role in raising the subject's profile within the school.

As a passionate design technology lead, Sharon encourages children to design and make high-quality products for a user and a purpose while developing their problem-solving skills. She delivers excellent teaching and has high expectations of all learners.

Sharon has had a variety of school leadership roles and responsibilities, including science, outdoor learning environment, computing and history. In her current position as design and technology lead, Sharon created a resource to support children’s design and technological knowledge and skills.

In addition, Sharon has invested time and effort into coaching and empowering new and existing colleagues to reflect and enhance their practice and planning and delivering effective CPD.

Sharon is immensely proud to be part of an outstanding school community whose ethos is to inspire and motivate children to be successful learners whilst developing children’s understanding of the place of design technology in the wider world.
