Ofsted’s research review identified common weaknesses in geography teaching in primary schools, so now is the right time to audit, evaluate and improve geography teaching.
The training:
- Looks at the priorities and processes of a deep dive into geography;
- Considers the quality of the intent, implementation and impact of a school’s geography curriculum;
- Helps leaders reflect on the evidence they can provide to support the deep dive process;
- Reflects on the key messages from Ofsted’s research review and the implications for a deep dive;
- Enables you to audit the quality of the provision in all aspects of geography.
This training aims to delve deeply into the quality of geography provision and enable subject leaders to effectively evaluate provision in their setting.
