Developing strategies for assessing as part of your curriculum is important. Summative assessments can be useful, but developing approaches to regular formative assessment is key to knowing your children well enough to assess them effectively.
We will consider:
• The importance of subject knowledge (including key knowledge to be taught)
• Strategies for questioning
• LCC resources that can support with formative assessment
• How to utilize the LCCs low stakes quizzes to support with assessment
There will be an opportunity for discussion and questions around how the LCCs resources can be used to support effective assessment across your curriculum.
You do not need to be a subscriber of the Learning Challenge Curriculum to attend this course, you can attend this course, whatever curriculum you are using and it will help.
