A handy checklist of the statutory policies that should be in place for both maintained schools and academies.
Review Cycles
The DfE recommend that governing bodies review statutory policies for maintained schools annually. This is with the exception of the equality objectives policy which can be reviewed every 4 years.
The DfE recommend that trust boards review statutory policies annually. As part of the boards public sector equality duty compliance, trust boards must publish equality objectives every 4 years.
