This popular resource provides an exemplification of progress in writing in key stages 1 and 2 within each year group over the year and what writing may look like for pupils working at the expected standard or working at greater depth within the expected standard.
The examples are shown with annotations so that they can be used as CPD opportunities to develop an understanding of year-group expectations and how to identify progress across the year. They demonstrate the cyclical nature of the English writing curriculum and how the objectives are revisited until they are securely learned and used in all writing.
