Profile
Bethany is a KS2 Class Teacher and member of the Senior Leadership Team at an Outstanding Primary School in the North West.
For a number of years, Bethany has led the teaching of English across school and has taken an active role in writing new Focus English units.
As a passionate English Lead, Bethany encourages a 'read for pleasure' ethos in an engaging and stimulating environment. She delivers high quality teaching and has high expectations of all learners.
Bethany has had a variety of school leadership roles and responsibilities including Personal Development, maintaining the progress and attainment of Pupil Premium children, PSHE and Art. In her current position as Art Lead, Bethany has created a resource which is intended to support children’s artistic knowledge and skills.
Bethany has had the privilege of mentoring and supporting SCITT students during their teaching placements and has been influential in their professional development.
In addition, Bethany has invested time and effort into coaching and empowering new and existing colleagues to reflect and enhance their own practice as well as planning and delivering effective CPD.
Bethany is immensely proud to be part of a school community whose ethos is to inspire and motivate children to be successful learners.
